StellarSearch is an AI-native recruiting partner helping some of the fastest-growing AI startups across New York, San Francisco, and London hire world-class engineers, researchers, and product talent.
We work with ambitious founders building genuinely category-defining companies — from profitable bootstrapped AI startups to VC-backed rocketships scaling from 0→1.
This is not a normal recruiting job.
You’ll work directly with AI founders, elite engineers, and extremely high-agency people building the future of AI. If you’re good, the upside here is massive — financially, professionally, and in terms of the network you build.
Who we’re looking for
* 2-3+ years experience in sales, recruiting, BD, or another highly client-facing environment (BDR, AE, recruiter, closer, SDR, etc)
* Entrepreneurial, competitive, and naturally high-agency
* Wants to become elite at recruiting
* Comfortable operating in fast-moving startup environments
* Emotionally resilient — recruiting is very high highs + brutal lows
* Great with people and naturally good at building relationships
* Learns fast, moves fast, and operates with urgency
* Wants real leverage/upside, not a comfortable internal recruiting role processing inbound applicants
* Excited by startups, technology, AI, and ambitious people
* Willing to learn how to source world-class engineers, close difficult candidates, and operate like a founder

* You understand recruiting at the highest level is a mix of sales, psychology, market intelligence, and speed
* You hate losing and want to be on a winning team
What the role looks like
* Fully remote — work from the Dolomites, Tokyo, Mexico City, wherever, as long as the work gets done
* Occasional travel to SF, NYC, and London
* Extremely high ownership from day one
* Direct exposure to some of the fastest-growing AI companies in the world
